Program details

The festive holiday of Purim celebrates bravery, community and being your true self. It is a time to embrace joy, humor and party!

Come in your favorite costume, make a grogger (a wooden rattle) and make some noise with percussion and dance group, Drumatix!, a high energy performance ensemble that tells an interactive Purim story through rhythm, beats and merriment.

Activities include:

  • Meet magicians in the Museum (9:30-10:30am)
  • Create Purim Wearable Art (9:30-10:30am)
  • Make a Purim Grogger (9:30-10:30am)
  • Purim Palooza: Percussion/Tap Performance by DrumatiX (10:30-11:15am)
  • PJ Library’s Purim Book Nook (9:30-11:30am)
