Ages:
6 and up
Location:

Science Explorations happen throughout the day. Check the TODAY sign in the Museum lobby for hours. At other times enjoy self-guided discovery boxes.

Make your own moving picture. A zoetrope is a simple device that animates a series of pictures. Draw your own series of pictures such as a flower opening and closing, or the sun rising and setting. Watch as your brain merges the images together and they come to life. Develop math and science skills as you create patterns and cycles, observe, and experiment.  Then narrate the story using augmentative and alternative communication tool.
