Welcome to the Lessons & Activities page. Here's where you'll find Lessons & Activities, activity sheets,
and long and short curricular units for use in elementary or middle-school
classrooms and preschool settings.
All the curricular materials included here have been developed
at the Boston Children's Museum by Museum educators or by teachers
collaborating with the Education Department in our workshops,
seminars or institutes. The materials fall within the three
main subject areas represented in the Museum's exhibits and programming:
Arts, Sciences and Cultures. All units and Lessons & Activities
have been aligned with Massachusetts and National curriculum frameworks,
most of the lessons come with recommendations of resources for further
exploration within the Museum, as well as referrals to sources outside
the Museum.
