"Notice, wonder, question, play” is the motto of this lively center of activity.  Visitors are invited to explore the natural world in Investigate using all their senses, test the laws of motion in
Raceways with golf balls and some pretty quirky tracks, or experiment in
Bubbles creating beautiful orbs of many shapes and sizes.  Playing here is not only fun – it reinforces all the most important skills of scientific inquiry as visitors observe, measure, compare, discuss, and work together to explore the world around them. Investigate the natural world with all your senses - try the scope on a rope, enjoy science puzzles and demonstrations, explore museum collections from the beach, oceans, and forests.
