As an independent, non-profit institution, we rely on our generous donors to help make ends meet.  By supporting the Annual Fund, you help provide the critical funding necessary for programs, groundbreaking exhibits, multicultural celebrations, and teacher training, as well as allowing us to provide subsidized visits for families that would not otherwise be able to afford a trip to the Museum.

Did you know that ticket sales and memberships only account for 20% of the Museum’s operating costs?

It is because of that fact that we must depend on individuals like you to support us through charitable contributions. For almost 100 years, we have been part of the Boston Community and your continued support ensures that we continue this tradition for generations to come.

Join a Giving Society of the Boston Children's Museum!

Our Giving Society Members are an exceptional group of patrons that shapes the future of Boston Children's Museum – and you can too!  As a token of our appreciation, when you make a gift of $500 or more you will automatically become a member of the Museum’s Giving Circle Society:

PRESIDENT'S CLUBHOUSE ($10,000 +)
BEST FRIENDS ($5,000 +)
FRIENDS ($2,500 +)
PALS ($1,000 +)
NEIGHBORS ($500 +)

As a Giving Society Member you will receive:

• Invitations to exclusive Museum events.
• Recognition in the Annual Report and on the Museum’s donor wall.
• An Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) Membership, which admits up to 6 people at hundreds of children’s museums around the country.  If you choose not to accept this membership, it can be donated back to the Museum and given to a family in need.
