Boston Children’s Museum is honored and thrilled to introduce our 2017 Boston Marathon Team!
Hannah Bowlin- During her time at Boston College, Hannah has worked as an EMT at the Boston Marathon. Now in her senior year, she is eager to undertake this new challenge during her last semester.
Chelsea Brophy- Running a marathon after college graduation is a Brophy family tradition; having just graduated from College of the Holy Cross last spring, Chelsea is thrilled to be running for the Boston Children’s Museum team.
Chrissy Kratz- A critical member of the planning team for our fall fundraiser, The Wonder Ball, Chrissy is very familiar with the important educational work happening every day here at the Museum. This will be Chrissy’s second marathon, and first time running the Boston Marathon.
Jacki Perkins- Jacki is a first-time marathon runner who truly believes that “playful learning can change the world.” Jacki ran the BAA half Marathon this past October, and is ecstatic to run the entire 26.2 miles for our Museum in April.
All of our runners are training hard to run from Hopkinton to Boylston, and each has committed to raise at least $7,500, with an aspirational goal of $10,000, for the Museum. Our Museum is excited to root them on and we hope that you are too!
