Boston Youth Dance Festival is a celebration Boston's vibrant dance community. An estimated over one hundred youth dancers from across Boston gather to teach and learn from each other and with museum visitors through performances, classes and choreography projects. Prior to the festival, youth of participating organizations collaborate and co-choreograph new works that draw on and blend their different dance styles. Through bringing dancers from across Boston together, this event connects young people to their own potential while fostering a creative community that is encouraging, inclusive, and just.
