Cardboard Hat Design Workshops with Artist Eri Honda

Art Studio

Learn how to transform cardboard to create an original one of a kind hat you can wear. Artist Eri Honda will share how she makes her dolls, cardboard sculptures and guide visitors in making their own cardboard hat!

Cardboard hat

Eri Honda is a Japanese sculptor and Illustrator. She is creates installations, animations, children books and paintings. Her installation works have been exhibited at National Academy Museum, Kinokuniya book store NY and Chashama Gallery in 2015. She wrote the children’s book, Message On A Wing, in 2013. Over 11,000 copies of the book were given to Japanese children living in the Fukushima area and to survivors from 9/11.

She graduated from the Fukuoka Design School (Japan) and the National Academy School of Fine Art (New York). She studied animation at School of Visual Art (New York).
