Boston Children’s Museum will open the Human Garden, an immersive multimedia series that combines technology and nature.
Artist Lani Asuncion has created an immersive video of an up-close view of the Arnold Arboretum. Visitors are invited to one at a time move their hands back and forth above the grass-covered pedestal, which will activate a real-time interaction with the projected video, causing it to morph and grow within the space. This work encourages curiosity and play through interactive technology that invites visitors to imagine themselves growing with the plants, igniting excitement around our natural environment.
The performance happens at 7 pm.
