Come play with toys designed by the Rehabilitation Games & Virtual Reality Lab at Northeastern University. The lab develops low-cost, technology-based games and toys to encourage functional movement in children with disabilities. The toys are entirely student-created and are designed to be used in a variety of therapy settings. Toys include a motion-capture controlled robot, an interface bridging digital and physical interactions, and a device to train throw timing. All children are invited to test out the toys and tools and give feedback so the lab can refine and continue to improve them before bringing them to clinics and hospitals!
